JACKSON

Location: Squamish
Breed: Pitbull
Weight: 60 lbs
Sex: Neutered Male
Age: 5 years old
Energy level: Medium
Adoption Fee: $425
Health notes: none noted

Jackson is an absolute lover! He's a very sensitive guy and that loves to be with his people and get snuggled. His energy level varies depending upon yours; he's great to go for a run with, but is also happy to hang out and cuddle on the couch.

He's a very well-mannered fellow that takes quickly to training and loves treats. He gets along with other dogs, but tends to be a little rude when being introduced on leash. We're very confident with consistent training that he can improve his on-leash skills.

The car makes Jackson a bit anxious so we are looking for someone who doesn't travel much or is willing to work on slow and positive introductions to the car.

He gets along with his foster sister; a Siberian husky, but he has not been tested with cats, small dogs or children.

If you are interested in adopting Jackson please go to www.rosierdays.com please complete an Adoption Application under the FORMS tab.

The adoption application will be reviewed before a meet ‘n greet with Jackson is arranged.

Please be patient when waiting to hear back from us as the dogs care is priority and all of our volunteers work as well and run the rescue in their spare time. You should hear from us within 72 hours.

Energy level: Medium-High
Adoption Fee: $425 which will include Bailey and her new owners some training to set them up for success.

NO other animals in the home, can have big dog friends

NO dog parks

Bailey would love to have a home with a fenced yard

Kids 10 and over just because she is an active gal that could knock a little one over

Who's ready for some fun???!! Bailey is!! This girl is always up for a good play, walk run, what do you want to do?!? She also loves to relax, cuddle and watch a movie if that is the mood you are in. Bailey is a smart and very loving gal. This girl has so much potential as she aims to please. She would thrive with someone who would do some additional training with her as she is so receptive and SMART, and she does know most of the basics. Bailey does need to work on her excitement level when she sees other dogs on her walks. She is looking for an active home that wants to share their adventures with a loyal companion. Bailey would love someone to play fetch with, hike, and maybe participate in some agility with her. This girl looooves a game or a challenge. Because she is such an intelligent gal that can get excited, consistency in her training and boundaries are extremely important to Bailey's success. Bailey was adopted five months ago to a wonderful home. She recently had incident over a bone with the other dog in the home and has yet to emotionally recover from this. Her parents are so loving and committed to her, three trainers have been consulted and all feel that Bailey would prefer and thrive being the only dog in the home. This has been a very hard decision for them, but know that Bailey would be happiest with all of the attention on her!
